The EU entity is Coinbase Luxembourg S.A. under the CSSF, licence N00000004 — not the Irish entity most sources name. Authorised for exchange, execution and custody, but not to operate a trading venue.
Coinbase is the one exchange here whose fees we will not state. Two aggregators published different figures, neither traceable to a Coinbase page for the EEA entity, so the cell reads not published rather than picking one. The entity itself is also commonly reported wrong — it is Luxembourg, not Ireland.
Register entry
The EU entity is Coinbase Luxembourg S.A. under the CSSF, licence N00000004, authorised 20 June 2025, covering 7 of the 10 MiCA services. It does not hold the operation-of-a-trading-platform permission. Note that Coinbase’s EU CASP is commonly reported as the Irish entity; the register says Luxembourg.
Custody & safeguards
We are not going to state a fee for Coinbase.
Two aggregators published different figures for the EEA entity and neither was traceable to a Coinbase page. Rather than pick one, this page reports the cell as not published per entity. If you find a figure elsewhere, check whether it applies to Coinbase Luxembourg S.A. or to a different Coinbase entity in a different jurisdiction — they are not the same product.

This section carries no referral link. Go to Coinbase directly, and before you deposit confirm that the entity you are contracting with is Coinbase Luxembourg S.A. — the one named on the ESMA register — and not a differently-licensed group company.
